MQM can get country out of economic crisis: Khalid Maqbool

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that now MQM will not protest but resist oppression. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui addressing meeting held at Bagh e Jinnah regarding MQM Foundation Day said that March is continuation of bright and eternal history. He said that those who had planned to create Pakistan had to promise to save Pakistan on March 18.
He said that like on March 23, 1940, representative meeting of those who saved Pakistan is still going on here and whole of Pakistan is represented in this meeting and that must unite the oppressed sections of Pakistan with one ideology and struggle.
Khalid Maqbool said that power is not our civilisation but civilisation is our strength. He said MQM has to start new and fresh struggle to save nation from slavery.
On other hand, Senior Deputy Convener MQM Dr. Farooq Sattar has said that only MQM can get country out of current economic crisis. Dr. Farooq Sattar said scattered people of MQM have united and today largest gathering in recent history of Karachi has taken place on platform of MQM.
He said that all parties have excluded MQM from local bodies’ election through systematic conspiracy. He said 80 percent of people who boycotted the Karachi LB election are present at MQM’s venue.
