Sialkot: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said militants are using Afghanistan soil to carry out terrorist attacks inside Pakistan. “Terrorism against us is mostly being conducted from Afghanistan,” he said while speaking to media here.

Two officers and five soldiers of Pakistan Army were martyred while repulsing an attack by terrorists on post of security forces in North Waziristan district on Saturday.

Asif said some facilitators of terrorists have been traced and Pakistan has raised issue with Afghanistan government, according to Radio Pakistan. He reiterated “Those people [foreign national] who do not have valid documents would not be allowed to live in Pakistan”.

Moreover, he also questioned why terrorism in country witnessed surge following removal of PTI’s government. “Identify enemies. Loyalty to Pakistan is conditioned to power,” he added.
