LAHORE: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said that Punjab Chief Minister Ch Parvez Elahi has only 175 votes in assembly but he is pretending to have 187 members. Addressing press conference here, he disclosed that six voters of Parvez Elahi are out of country.

“Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi does not have 186 members in Punjab Assembly, resultantly he cannot take vote of confidence under any circumstances.”

He said that coalition government has 179 members in Punjab Assembly and that government can be successful in run-off election.

He alleged that Punjab government had committed corruption of Rs 100 billion on daily basis. He added that Punjab CM was given 20 to 22 days during which he committed corruption of billions of rupees daily.

“Monish Elahi has gone abroad on charter plane with looted money and he may not return in country.” He criticised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Chairman Imran Khan and said that he is “scumbag” in country’s politics who taught people to be rude.

He said Imran Khan is directly involved in Punjab’s corruption. He lamented that PTI government had also embezzled hefty amount of Rs 5 billion in Al-Qadir University. He urged Chief Justice of Lahore High Court to resolve Wazirabad’s incident forensic report issue.

He said JIT report submitted by Ghulam Mahmood Dogar was made at behest of Imran Khan. He said that incident in Wazirabad is true, accused Naveed fired but Imran Khan was not hit.
