Modi's menacing claims

Twenty-five years after the Kargil war, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's menacing claim that 'Pakistan has not learned anything from its history and continues to support terrorists', in his speech at a commemorative event in occupied Kashmir, it is very funny that Pakistan's unprecedented efforts to end terrorism are recognized by the world, while during Modi's regime, his country has earned immense reputation for conducting systematic campaigns of terrorism around the world.  In recent years, there has been strong evidence that Indian terror networks have spread to the US and Canada.

There is definite evidence on record of India's involvement in terrorism inside Pakistan.  The dark exploits of Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadav cannot be denied. Indian consulates in Afghanistan have been training centers for terrorism against Pakistan during the previous Afghan government.  In the presence of these facts, Modi's attempt to throw mud at Pakistan is tantamount to a ploy to cover up his crimes. Then the fact that the Indian Prime Minister has insulted Pakistan by going to the land of the Kashmiris to whom  his country promised to give the right to self-determination in front of the entire international community in the United Nations, but more than a century has passed and India is not adhering to the UN SC resolution on occupied Kashmir.  Despite the passage of around a century, Kashmir has been usurped by Indian military force, while Narendra Modi in his last term boldly mocked the UN resolutions and ended the disputed status of Kashmir and made it part of India. Although the decision of joining Pakistan or India is the legitimate right of Kashmiris, India had assured in the United Nations that a referendum would be held in the state as soon as possible and the decision taken by the Kashmiri people would be recognized, but then the Indian rulers have adopted a clever strategy of declaring the freedom struggle of Kashmiris as terrorism and Narendra Modi has boldly claimed in his latest address that the Indian army will crush terrorism with full force.

The question is, if Kashmiris are supporters of India, why are millions of Indian soldiers imposed on the state for decades, why Kashmiris do not enjoy the constitutional rights and freedoms that other citizens of India enjoy, Kashmiri leaders have been imprisoned and put behind the bars for years. Why are there victims and why is this occupied state the world's biggest prison?  In this context, the rejection of Modi's statement by the Pakistani Foreign Office is absolutely correct. According to the Spokesperson of the Foreign Office, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, India should consider its adventures of targeted killing, sabotage and organized terrorism in foreign territories. Pak spokesperson made it clear that Pakistan is resolute in its will and capacity to counter aggression and protect its sovereignty as exemplified by Pakistan's strong response to India's incursion in February 2019.  Pakistan is ready to counter India's aggressive actions and is determined to promote peace and stability in the region. The Foreign Office described the power addiction of the Indian rulers as the main obstacle in all Pakistan-India conflicts, including Kashmir, which has been proved to be based on the facts of the common history spanning eight decades.

The region can be blessed with growth, stability and prosperity, if India adheres to the UN SC resolution on Kashmir. It may be mentioned here that Indian terrorism is not limited to Pakistan, India is also involved in terrorism in other countries.  In September last year, due to strong evidence of Indian government's involvement in the murder of Canada-based Sikh leader Hardeep Singh, Canada took a tough stand against India and diplomatic relations between the two countries were badly affected. The White House also fully supported Canada in this matter and warned India that such actions would not be tolerated. The United States, Great Britain, Australia and New Zealand  had not only expressed outrage over this incident but also criticized India and supported Canada and had demanded India to cooperate in the investigation of the murder. But India was reluctant to cooperate in the investigation, which is another proof of India's involvement in the incident. If India was not involved in the killing of Sikh leader Hardeep Singh, it would have itself demanded an investigation from Canada. Instead, India was running away from the investigation After that, in November, the US government itself revealed that some Indian officials had plotted to assassinate US-based Sikh leader Patwant Singh, which was foiled by the US intelligence agencies. Many more actions of Indian intelligence agencies have come to light, which prove that India is an international terrorist.  Modi is used to stage dramas like the drama of the Pulwama attack in the past and then the unsuccessful air operation in Pakistani territory. But the Modi government had to face a lot of embarrassment after the downing of the Indian plane by the Pakistani Shaheens and the capture of the Indian pilot.

Once again, such a plan is not far from the Indian rulers, but they should remember that they will get the same response from Pakistan, they have experienced it last time.  While the international community must also keep in mind the fact that if this happens, the confrontation between the two nuclear powers of the region can seriously threaten the peace of the whole world and the scope of destruction can be wide.  It may be recalled here that last year, both the Pak Army Chief and  the Government Ministers had talked about the involvement of foreign hands in terrorism in Pakistan with such precision, it cannot be done without the presence of solid evidence.  Strong evidences of links between terrorist elements from Afghanistan, including the banned TTP, to the Indian agency have also come to light in recent past.  In the past, evidence of terrorist activities carried out by terrorists in Pakistan with the help of the Indian intelligence agency has been exposed by the international community.  In December 2020, the government of Pakistan submitted a dossier in this regard to the Secretary General of the United Nations and it proved impossible for India to deny it.  Pakistan should keep the international community constantly aware of the facts regarding Indian hands in terrorist activities in Pakistan.
