Modi felicitates Shehbaz on assuming PM role

ISLAMABAD: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi felicitated his Pakistani counterpart Shehbaz Sharif for being sworn in as country’s 24th premier.

Taking to X, Narendra Modi congratulated Shehbaz Sharif who took reins of country for second time as premier. Earlier, Shehbaz Sharif was administered oath of office by President Dr Arif Alvi.

Earlier, world leaders including amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and Turkiye’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan congratulated newly sworn in Prime Minister of Pakistan.
