LARKANA: Inspector General of Sindh Police (IGP), Ghulam Nabi Memon and leader of Pakistan Peoples’ Party (Ladies Wing) MPA Faryal Talpar on visiting Lahori Mahalla expressed condolence with relatives of martyred DSP Abdul Malik Bhutto in Ghotki district. Speaking to media persons, IGP said, “I have met wounded in encounter whose spirits were very high.”

He said to improve law and order situation in province Sindh Police is working hard and will try to give full response to this incident. He said that Sindh government has announced head money of seven dacoits, whose hideouts have been identified and we will conduct operation.  He said that in terms of resources and technology, compared to last 10 years, police have modern weapons and better quality APCs while Sindh government has given three billion rupees to upgrade CTD.

He said that performance of CTD and police is also improving. He said that morale of Ghotki Police is very high and we will definitely reach accused soon. He said that Ghotki district is bordering with Sindh-Balochistan and Punjab provinces so RPO Bahawalpur and SSP Rahimyar Khan were also present in our meeting held in Sukkur.
