Mir Ali Domki sworn in as caretaker CM Balochistan

Seasoned politician Mir Ali Mardan Domki has taken oath as caretaker Chief Minister of Balochistan during ceremony held at Governor House here. Balochistan Governor Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar administered oath to Domki.
Oath-taking ceremony was attended by prominent political and social figures, including federal ministers and dignitaries. Event marked formal swearing-in of Domki after his nomination was approved by parliamentary committee. Domki was nominated with consensus by outgoing Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo and leader of opposition Malik Sikandar Kakar. Domki belongs to Lahri area of Balochistan. He is son of politician Mir Hazor Bakhsh Domki, who served as senator between 1975 and 1977. Domki did his Masters in Sociology from Allama Iqbal University Islamabad and has served as Tehsil Nazim Lahri and District Nazim Sibi.
Domki was born on October 13, 1972. His brother Dostin Domki has been member of Balochistan Assembly and also served as minister of state.
