Minister takes notice of power load shedding in exam centres

KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Energy Syed Nasir Hussain Shah taking notice of reports on poor condition and fainting students due to load shedding during matriculation examinations, directed Secretary Energy Mussadiq Khan to ensure uninterrupted power supply to all examination centres during matric examinations.
Take to senior officers of K Electric, HESCO and SEPCO on board to exempt examination centres from load shedding. Later Mussadiq Ahmed contacted concerned CEOs of K Electric, HESCO and SEPCO and informed them about Nasir Shah’s concern and instructions. Secretary Energy told electricity distribution companies that Minister Energy has expressed anger over unconsciousness and condition of students due to load shedding during matric examinations, Electricity distribution agencies should exempt examination centres from load shedding and ensure uninterrupted power supply.
CEOs of K Electric, Hesco and Sepco assured Energy Secretary of their assurance and full cooperation in implementing Energy Minister’s orders.
