Karachi: Karachi: US Consul General Nicole Theriot and Sindh Minister LG Syed Nasir Hussain Shah discussed bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest. Nasir Shah said that record development work has been done in Sindh under PPP government and Karachi’s infrastructure has faced severe damage in last rainy season and steps are being taken on priority to restore infrastructure. Work of more than 400 small and big roads of Karachi is going on.

He told CG that due to foreign policies of PPP Chairman and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto, trade with different countries was promoted and relations between Pakistan and friendly countries were further strengthened due to successive foreign visits. Nicole Theriot praised Sindh government regarding development initiatives and said that initiatives of Local Government Department and Sindh government to provide relief to its people are commendable. Minister Nasir Shah presented traditional Sindh shawl to Consul General.

Additional Chief Secretary LG Syed Najam Shah, Chairman District Council Sukkur Syed Kamil Haider Shah, Coordinator of Chief Minister Shahzad Memon, Justice of Peace Pir Aman, Political Officer Ron Rhinehart and Political Specialist Saleh Shah were present.
