Minister lauds holding Mini Thesis Show for students at Arts Council

KARACHI: Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi organised Mini Theses Show 2022 of Fine Art 3rd-year students under Arts Council Institute of Arts and Crafts. Students presented creations. Thesis Show was inaugurated by Sindh Minister of Labour and Manpower Saeed Ghani and President of Arts Council Ahmad Shah. ACIAC Principal Shahid Rasaam, Zeeshan, Masood Alam Khan and teachers were present.

Saeed Ghani said, “I congratulate all office bearers, outline that comes to mind of an Arts Council, this Arts Council fully fulfills it. These students will make name for themselves and also make a name for country.”

 He said that student work is so beautiful that it is not understood whose work is best. Arts Council is working on all dimensions of art which work of these children will improve more, he said that Sindh government never regretted that we supported in wrong place. Ahmed Shah and his team want to make Karachi city of arts personalities, seeing them, more children from poor families will be inspired by them.

Ahmad Shah said that we have tried to revive this institute, we have focused from beginning on those students who are hardworking and cannot afford expensive fine art education because children of rich people.

He said that when these students came here, they did not have confidence. Here Hindu, Christian, Muslim and different religions, languages, colours and races come.

Among students who presented art painting, sculpture and miniature creations included Zarnab Baloch, Zeenat Khan, Habiba Mujeeb, Yasir Noor, Bakhtiar Ahmed, Lewis Saber, Akash Viraj, Sahar Afshan, Mohammad Darab Munir, Jawad Hassan, Fatima Khan, Shahzad Baloch, Wasama Baloch, Uzma Rehman, Kiran Aslam, Kabir Atta Muhammad, Stephen Yaqub, Naheed Noor, Muhammad Ashiq and Azka Latif.
