Minister decides to restore monitoring, evaluation cell in ongoing development projects

Karachi: Sindh Minister for Planning and Development Nasir Hussain Shah said that it has been decided to immediately revive “Monitoring and Evaluation Cell” which has been inactive for ten years in Sindh.
This cell is being activated on special directives of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and steps are being taken in this regard so that instructions of Chairman can be completed as soon as possible.
He said that through modern technology, ongoing development projects in Sindh will be enabled with help of artificial intelligence, preparation of which has been completed.
P&D Department will start process of survey in different districts of Sindh from May 1. I will conduct survey myself along with Chairman Planning and Development Najam Ahmad Shah and related institutions.
Minister warned that those who do not work on time will be blacklisted and an inquiry will be conducted against them. He said that no one will be allowed to become an obstacle in development of Sindh province. All development schemes and projects in annual development programme will be strictly monitored.
