Minister Amin Ul Haque inaugurates ‘Book Fair’

KARACHI: Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Syed Amin-ul-Haque inaugurated ‘Book Fair’ at Sehba Akhtar Park in Shah Faisal Town here.

Three-day book fair was organised by District education Department Korangi. Administrator District Korangi Muhammad Sharif Khan and MPA Sindh Assembly Muhammad Hussain Khan were also present. Number of teachers and schoolchildren participated in fair during inauguration ceremony.

Meanwhile, talking to media persons, Minister underscored importance of book reading. He said that books play vital role in people’s life. Amin Ul Haque said that holding of book fair is revolutionary step taken by Administrator. He advised people to take benefit from fair.

Minister also announced establishment of computer laboratory, which would work under free-internet for year. Earlier, Minister visited different stalls and reviewed books put on display.
