Held SRINAGAR: Former Chief Minister of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) Mehbooba Mufti said she has been put under house arrest.
According to report by Kashmir Media Service (KMS), Mehbooba was supposed to visit house of Kashmiri pandit Sunil Kumar’s family who was killed by unknown men on August 17 at Chotigam in Shopian district. “My attempts to visit Suneil Kumar’s family at Chotigam were scuttled by administration. Same administration claims that locking us up is for our own security while they themselves visit every nook and corner of Valley,” Mehbooba said in a tweet. She also shared a picture of a security bunker vehicle stationed outside her Fairview residence at Gupkar Gate in Srinagar.
