Karachi: Administrator DMC east Rahmatullah Sheikh said that there is an urgent need to improve medical centres at municipal level in this costly period. We will play role in providing best possible medical facilities to financially weak communities.

He expressed these views by handing over medicines to CMO east Dr. Zartash Praveen. He said that budget has been allocated in current financial year to equip medical centres with best facilities.

He said that people have now started coming to medical centres of DMC in large number which indicates that after providing more medical facilities, people will get more benefits from medical centres while in maternity homes a large numbers of patients already approaching, will restore same confidence in other medical centres.

Dr. Zartash Praveen said that hundreds of patients come to medical centres and this number is increasing further after supply of medicines, PIB and Soldier Bazaar Maternity Homes are among best medical centres where doctors are discharging their professional responsibilities in best possible way. She thanked Rahmatullah Sheikh and Municipal Commissioner Fahim Khan for providing medicines. Director Purchase Muhammad Akram Khan was also present.
