MD KWSB directs officials to ensure proper water, drainage arrangments

Karachi: Sindh Local Government Minister Nasir Hussain Shah’s instructed Karachi Water and Sewerage Board to complete arrangements regarding Pakistan England T20 cricket series to be held at National Stadium. In this connection, MD Water Board has issued orders to officials regarding water supply and drainage arrangements in National Stadium.

Sindh Minister and Chairman Water Board Nasir Hussain Shah and Vice Chairman Water Board Syed Najmi Alam issued instructions to complete arrangements regarding Pakistan England T20 cricket series. A-Scheme One, New Town, Chandni Chowk, Aga Khan Hospital, Dalmia, Civic Centre, Gulshan Iqbal Block 14, Urdu Science College, Nipa and other areas should be closely monitored on water supply and drainage system.

Effective steps should be taken to eliminate leakages in water lines immediately, on other hand, while implementing orders of MD Water Board, In-charge Hydrant Cell Muhammad Azam Khan and Focal Person Hydrant Cell Shahbaz Bashir General Manager P.C remained alert.  B. Arshad Khan on behalf of Water Board assured completion arrangements. He said that before series, water tankers will be provided free of charge at National Stadium, while several tankers, sewer cleaning, jetting and sectioning and rodding machines will be available inside stadium so that any kind of complaints can be resolved immediately.
