Mayor greets all Muslims, especially Karachiites

KARACHI: Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab said that Eid-ul-Azha is great festival of Muslims, greeting all Muslims specially citizens of Karachi he asked them to pray for security, unity, brotherhood, equality and brotherhood of country. He visited district east and greets Bohra community on Eid.

 In a meeting with Chairman of Jamaat-e-Islami UC-8 Jinnah Town, Junaid Makati, he discussed Eid-ul-Azha operation and assured him that work of lifting garbage in all areas of Karachi will be done uniformly and all towns municipal corporations will perform better together.

 He also visited collection point and issued instructions on spot. After Eastern District, Mayor visited Central District and met Bohra community members at Hyderi and gave them sweets on Eid. He reviewed arrangements for offal and waste disposal on Eid-ul-Azha in Central District where 21 collection points have been set up.  He visited collection points at Hyderi and Five Star Chowrangi, Deputy Commissioner District Central Taha Saleem, Town Chairman of Jamaat-e-Islami North Nazimabad Atif Ali were present.

He met residents. They expressed their gratitude to Mayor and said that arrangements in connection with Eid-ul-Azha are acceptable.
