Maya upset by recent increase in petrol prices

Decision by Pakistani government to increase price of petrol by 5 rupees per litre has caused severe inflation and put many people in terrible financial situation. Individuals and families in Pakistan have faced tremendous hardships as result of new price of 272 rupees per litre.

Lollywood star Maya Ali’s response to this circumstance. In post on her Instagram story, Ali called out nation’s Prime Minister for government’s increase in price of petrol.

Maya Ali revealed rise in post on her Instagram account and addressed Prime Minister directly, adding, “Mr Shehbaz Shreek, know it at once.” She expressed her frustration with situation, stating that it was “Ridiculous” and “Getting out of control.”

Many others who are also having trouble paying their bills in face of rising prices and economic uncertainty have related to Ali’s response. Maya Ali appeared in several films and dramas, including Mann Mayal, Sanam, Pehli Si Muhabbat and Jo Bichar Gaye.
