May 9 riots planned at Zaman Park: Marriyum

LAHORE: Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said that if terms “Good to see you” and “Good Luck” were not used in courts, nation would not be ashamed today of May 9 events. Speaking to media after visiting Jinnah House here, Maryam Aurangzeb said that no patriotic person can see burnt images of Jinnah House.

“This is result of foreign funding that has been ongoing since 2013. mastermind of May 9 has been identified,” she said adding plan for May 9 was made in Zaman Park and PTI Chairman burnt Jinnah House. But, now he claims that he was in jail.

She said that PTI Chief plunged youth into fire of hatred, destroyed memorials of martyrs and burnt down ambulance. Now issue of human rights is being discussed, she added.

Maryam Aurangzeb further said that May 9 incident cannot be linked to anyone’s politics. No one can be allowed to cross state’s red line. Those who facilitated incident are also part of this crime, she concluded.
