May 9 incident cases of miscriants will not run in mly court, says Sanaullah

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said cases of all persons involved in May 9 incident will not be run in military courts.

“Only 7 cases regarding attack on military installations have been registered and 6 among them are being processed. No new military courts are being set up. Those involved in attacks on military property have been handed over to military courts. There will be no pardon or compromise on this matter. Neither government nor head of any other institution of government is authorised to release who are involved in such cases. PTI people are quitting party on their own will”, he said this while addressing press conference here.

He said hatred and malice based politics is continuing since 2014 dharna and last one year. This hatred based politics was being entered in Pakistan like ulcer. Work was being done with internal and external forces under programme in this conspiracy. On May 25, Islamabad was to be sealed after besieging it.

He underlined that people were trained to attack state and institutions. This fitna will subject nation to some fatal incident. Citing to May 9 incident he said speculations are being made about what incidents took place on May 9. I am going to place truth before all. I will take full responsibility in these facts. 499 cases were registered in all over Pakistan in connection with this incident. 88 cases have been registered under terrorism. 3,946 people have been arrested across country in 7 ATA cases. 5,536 people were arrested in other cases. Most of them have been released on bail. He held it is being said how military act can be applied. Ransacking sensitive installations, making pictures during ransacking, making video and spreading them is an offence. This offence cannot be called political protest.
