LAHORE: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said people disappointed in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan were looking for other political parties.
Speaking to media, he said eighteenth amendment to Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan holds government and no one else, responsible for flour crisis in province. “Punjab will witness change, anyhow, if ruling coalition has majority, why is it reluctant to obtain vote of confidence”, he added.
Referring to Imran’s old connotation about CM Elahi, he said Punjab’s “Biggest dacoit” had to go and time would reveal who formed government. “God may not bring time when we feel need to join hands with Elahi”, he added. Asif said he was unaware of power-sharing formula [if vote of no confidence against CM Elahi succeeded].
