MULTAN: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz vowed to not spare Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan for “Harming country.”

Speaking at public convention in saints’ city, she blamed Imran Khan for “Ballooning inflation,” despite admitting that prices of bread, power, gas and all other commodities were skyrocketing. Heaping praise on PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz recalled, “Whenever, Sharif’s government came into power, country witnessed progress.”

Maryam Nawaz called for throwing PTI chief Imran Khan out of politics, saying that former Army Chief General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa admitted that establishment made blunder by supporting previous PTI-led government.

Bajwa sahab following his retirement admitted that he made blunder like Imran Khan. It was biggest blunder in 75-year history of country.  Now mere admission of this blunder is enough. Now we have to remove this stain from nation forehead. This fitna [mischief] should be thrown out of politics. She said Cabal of five nurtured former premier but same snake that they nurtured is now biting them. Maryam also took a jibe at former spy chief Lt Gen (retd) Faiz Hameed, saying that Imran is unable to come to terms as to how to do politics without former support.

I feel proud of Nawaz Sharif when I see them crying. We faced arrests with bravery and courage but look at them they are shedding tears, she remarked. Responding to PTI chief Imran Khan Jail Bharo Tehreek, Maryam said former premier ran Jaib Bharo Tehreek when he was in power.
