Maryam rings up Nawaz, Shehbaz for finalisation of party candidates

Lahore: PML-N Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz made telephonic contact with Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif on matter of finalising candidates of party in connection with general election in Punjab.

Maryam Nawaz sent preliminary list of PML-N candidates to Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz for its finalisation. During telephonic contact overall political situation of Punjab was discussed.

During conversation Nawaz Sharif directed to give priority to loyal and ideological workers of PML-N while awarding tickets. He directed Maryam Nawaz to send list of candidates from every constituency who have filed papers. Elementary list of candidates was sent to both Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif.

Sources said PML-N parliamentary board meeting is likely to be held soon. Nawaz Sharif lauded government decision to provide free flour to poor people during Ramadhan.
