Actress Maryam Nafis, who is associated with the Pakistan showbiz industry, came to the defense of national cricketer Azam Khan and slammed the PCB for imposing a fine.

In a story on the photo and video sharing platform Instagram, the actress shared a picture of Azam Khan with the news of the fine being imposed on him and expressed her pride in the player.

She wrote in his Instagram story that the whole world is standing in favor of Palestine, but we are constantly living in hypocrisy, we do not recognize Israel, but the tragedy is that we do not even allow our people to support the truth Maryam Nafees tagged Azam Khan and wrote, "I am proud of your ethics and compassion for Palestinians."

The Insta story shared by the actress in defense of the player went viral on social media. It should be noted that recently cricketer Azam Khan batted with a sticker of the Palestinian flag on his bat during the National T20 Cup 2023, due to which the PCB fined him 50% of the match fee
