LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz slammed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan over latter’s tweet on economic situation.

Taking to Twitter, Nawaz took a jibe at Imran Khan and accused him of dragging country into quagmire. Berating Imran Khan for negotiating with International Monetary Fund Maryam Nawaz said, “Cruel deal that you [Imran] struck with IMF. Then you breached deal, plunging country into economic turmoil”.

“Mighty audacious of you to criticise those who are undoing your mess created through ruthless plunder, incompetence and misplaced priorities,” she added. Censuring the PTI chief, the PML-N leader maintained that your ruthless looting, incompetence, wrong preferences, harsh deal with IMF and its violation had put the country on the path of economic misery. Responding to Imran tweet, Maryam asked Imran to Remain quiet and sit, claiming that ruling PDM government was trying to rectify mistakes of past.

See arrogance! Those who are trying to clear your filth, you are holding them responsible for mess created by you.

Further, directing pun at Imran, she asked PTI chairman to remember those who had Handpicked him to rule country and created all Chaos.

And let’s not forget to thank all those for this mayhem who handpicked and fed you for four years, as well as remnants of their influence in judiciary that you are now banking on. Wont let that happen InshaAllah.
