Mamya Shajaffar also known as Maham Shahid, model and actress rose to fame through her popular soap serial Meesni.

Mamya Shajaffar is happily married to Farooq Gul who is photographer, creative director and designer.In recent chit chat session with Fuchsia magazine, Mamya opened up about her marriage. She disclosed why she got married at age of twenty five.

Talking about it, Mamya Shajaffar said,“I think I got married at right time. I was twenty five when I got married. I didn’t take an abrupt decision. We were already studying together and were seeing each other for three years.

Well, I got married because my mother was quite strict, she used to say me to come home by 10pm, which I didn’t want to. She then asked me to get married.

So! When I was twenty five, I decided to marry. I called Gul to bring his mother. His mother came and we got married within ten days.
