Malaysian CG inaugurates Dialysis Wing at Kharadar General Hospital

Karachi: Role of welfare institutions and philanthropists is important to bring quality medical services within reach of common man. Malaysian Consul General Harman Hardianata Ahmad inaugurating modern dialysis wing at Kharadar General Hospital said that inflation and economic imbalance have made it difficult to obtain modern medical facilities worldwide, but dialysis facility available at highly subsidised rates of Kharadar General Hospital is great example of service to humanity.

Well-known social personality Tariq Sufi said that need for dialysis has increased due to increase in kidney disease. Along with providing medical facilities, we also have to pay attention to remedying root causes. President of hospital and well-known industrialist Muhammad Bashir Jan Muhammad said that Kharadar General Hospital has been providing quality medical services to underprivileged area for last hundred years at subsidised rates.

Prominent paediatrician and community development leader Prof. Abdul Ghaffar Billoo said that Kharadar General Hospital has rendered valuable services to save lives of mothers and children. And lives of thousands of people are being improved through modern operation theater, laboratories and dialysis. Chief Executive Officer of Hospital Dr. Khalid Iqbal said that kidney diseases can be avoided only by early diagnosis and healthy activities. Consultant Nephrologist Dr. Bilquees said that protection of kidneys is actually protection of life.
