ISLAMABAD: Pakistani Nobel laureate and human rights activist Malala Yousafzai called for immediate ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.

Human rights activist Malala Yousafzai expressing her support for immediate ceasefire between Israel and Hamas said as I have seen heart wrenching news of recent days, my focus is on Palestinian and Israeli children during it who have been adversely affected in war like situation.

Recalling her childhood days she said she was 11 years old when she witnessed violence and terrorism with her own eyes. We woke up with sound of mortar shelling early in morning. We witnessed our masajid and schools becoming destroyed. Peace had become such thing which we could dream only.

I am grieved for all children and people who are aspirant for peace and justice on sacred land.
