ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said not only Imran Khan but we all are responsible for devastation of national economy.  "Holding Imran Khan or someone else responsible for destruction of national economy is not correct. If national economy is fragile then we all are responsible for it."

Talking to private TV channel here he said Imran Khan is incompetent. Baseless case was registered against Rana Sanaullah. Court acquitted Rana. Abandon tracing who did what. Place focus on national economy.  He held that steps were being taken to improve national economy. We are facing multiple challenges including economy.  He stated Pakistan is not default technically. Economic matters have to be managed. Difficult decisions will have to be made in this respect.

Talking of Suleman Shehbaz he said Suleman is not in politics. NAB registered false case against him. Suleman went to UK during Imran Khan's tenure. Erstwhile government should apologise. It should be admitted that they were misled.  He indicated Nawaz Sharif himself will decide about date for his return to Pakistan. He has taken hold of field in country politically.

If assemblies are dissolved then election will take place. We will be victorious in Punjab. Holding election is job of Election Commission. No interference should be made in its matters.
