Madad Ali emphasises domestic, int’l trainings for teachers to promote quality education

HYDERABAD: Caretaker Minister for Education and Professional Training Madad Ali Sindhi emphasised importance of training for teachers at domestically and internationally to promote quality education in country. He highlighted need for well-prepared educators to play an effective role in shaping better future for children.

Addressing ‘Latif Night’ program held at Public School Hyderabad here he invited students of School for one-week recreational visit to Islamabad.

He announced to initiate training programme for children under Allama Iqbal Open University and to provide 5,000 books of National Book Foundation for School’s library.

Sindhi praised outstanding performance of students during Latif Night programme, expressing his hope that such programs would continue in future. He stressed need for organising programmes that celebrate Sufi poets’ contributions in schools and colleges across country, as he added, it has been observed that such programmes were gradually being marginalised from our priorities.

Regarding status of School, he acknowledged that School had been operational for 62 years and was remained best institution for long time but its condition was deteriorated since it was handed over to IBA. He commended current principal for his efforts to improve School’s condition.
