Long March to resume tomorrow from Wazirabad: Imran Khan

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan announced to resume his long march from Wazirabad tomorrow. Addressing news conference here Imran said that common man could not get justice.

Talking about gunfire attack on him, PTI Chief went on to say that he wants transparent investigation over incident.


“PTI has a government in Punjab, but still we could not register a FIR. Video was surfaced in which it has been said that I am taking inappropriately about religion. In investigation, there is a need to find out how video got leaked,” added Imran.
While welcoming Shehbaz Sharif’s initiative of talking about forming judicial commission, Imran said with presence of people he named a transparent investigation could not take place. “When police were asked about video leak, they said they were facing pressure. I am pretty much sure that these people have done everything”, added PTI Chief.


Imran questioned, “Who are those people, who reacted after incident as interview was leaked immediately of person, who opened fire”, saying uproar of lying was caused after assassination attempt on him.
PTI Chief also urged Chief Justice to conduct

an investigation over cypher, adding that an investigation should also be held on matter of Azam Swati’s video as Swati has original video.


Lamenting that country’s former premier could not even register a single FIR, Imran urged judicial commission to probe first killing of journalist Arshad Sharif.
He said Azadi Long March will reach Rawalpindi in 10 to 15 days, where he will physically join march. Imran Khan invited masses to join their protest and break shackles of fear.
