Lions Club to donate $0.2m for housing to flood victims

ISLAMABAD: Lions Club International Foundation has planned to extend its philanthropic activities in Pakistan through construction and renovation of 100 housing units for flood victims in different areas at cost of $200,000.

Malik Khuda Bakhsh (MKB), Granted Administrator Lions Club International talking to a delegation of Council of Economic and Energy Journalists (CEEJ) in Karachi briefed office bearers and members that allocated funds are required to be transferred to Pakistan through a designated bank account of Lion Club Pakistan which will be approved by concerned authorities including Ministry of Interior.

CEEJ President Raja Kamran, Secretary Kashif Munir, Vice President Anjum Wahab, Treasure Ashraf Khan, Information Secretary Masood Ahmed Siddiqui, Ghiyasuddin, Muhammad Ali, Syed Baseem Iftikhar, Shahriar Janjua, Shiraz Ahmed, Kafeel Ahmed, Muhammad Yasir, Huda Sheikh were present in meeting.
