LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) has summoned attested copies of 121 cases against PTI Chairman Imran Khan besides directing to remove other objections raised on petition seeking dismissal of all 121 cases against PTI Chairman.
Petition came up for hearing before 2-member bench of LHC presided over by Justice Ali Baqar Najafi here.
Barrister Suleman Safdar counsel for Imran Khan told court that providing attested copies of cases is not big issue. 121 false cases were registered against Imran Khan under political pressure. Terrorism and murder cases were registered against Imran Khan to dissuade him from political struggle.
He argued Constitution of Pakistan gives freedom to every citizen for political and democratic struggle.
Court was requested to order for dismissing 13 false and baseless cases registered against him in Punjab immediately.
Court while upholding registrar office objection for providing attested copies maintained proper time is being given to remove registrar office objection. Court adjourned hearing of case till next week.
