RAWALPINDI: Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi bench on petition for recovery of Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has ordered to take action against police officers and policemen who were present at time of arrest of Sheikh Rasheed.

Court while giving CDRs and affidavit of petitioner to RPO Rawalpindi directed read text of affidavit and initiate legal proceedings after investigation.

Court while giving 8 day time more for recovery of Sheikh Rasheed on RPO plea adjourned hearing of case till October 18. RPO Rawalpindi Syed Khurram Ali appeared in court.

Court inquired RPO Sahb tell us what is progress regarding Sheikh Rasheed. RPO told court efforts were underway for recovery of Sheikh Rasheed. More time is needed.

Court inquired where CPO Rawalpindi is as he is accused in affidavit of applicant. Court ordered inquiry be held in respect of affidavit from applicant and FIR be got registered.
