LHC adjourns hearing of Elahi in intra court appeal

LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) has adjourned hearing of former Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi intra court appeal against single bench decision till November 16.

Two members bench of LHC presided over by Justice Shehram Chaudhry heard petition. Advocate General Punjab could not appear being pre-occupied in Supreme Court. Time was sought from his side. Court summoned Advocate General Punjab on next hearing for arguments.

Plea has been taken in appeal that single bench suspended judicial magistrate decision against facts. Judicial magistrate Gujranwala had given decision as per law. It is requested single bench decision be nullified.–Online
