Toronto: Legendary wrestler John Cena - an iconic figure in the world of professional wrestling-has announced his retirement from World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) after a remarkable career spanning over 23 years. The announcement came as a surprise during Saturday’s Money in the Bank event held in Toronto, Canada.

Cena, known for his trademark entrance music “Your Time is Up, My Time is Now,” addressed the WWE universe with a heartfelt farewell. “Why am I here? Tonight, I officially announce my retirement from the WWE,” he stated, sending shockwaves through the audience.

In his emotional address, Cena emphasized that his farewell tour would be filled with significant moments. “This farewell does not end tonight,” he continued. “It is filled with opportunity. Everybody, Raw makes history next year when it moves to Netflix. I’ve never been a part of Raw on Netflix; that is history. That is a first, and I will be there.” Cena outlined his final appearances in the WWE, marking them as historic events. “The 2025 Royal Rumble will be my last.
