ISLAMABAD: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said law is tightening noose around Imran Khan. Working within their constitutional parameters by institutions is not acceptable to Imran Khan, he said while talking to media men outside Election Commission (EC) here yesterday. He said what was fault of Gen (retd) Bajwa if Imran Khan could not run government.

He held Imran Khan has caused devastation within four years and we are trying to rectify it. Last card for dissolution of assemblies was played by Imran Khan, he stated. Result of no confidence motion will come within next two days, he  underlined. Imran Khan abuses EC, he said. Whosoever supported  Imran Khan he abuses this benefactor as well. If you could not run government then what is fault of Gen (retd) therein.

Every day new disclosure is being made in audio of Murshid in Tosha Khana matter, he held. It is  matter of regret that such people reached top positions who have no ethical values, he observed. Imran Khan is now bewildered, he added. If courts work according to will then he likes it. If establishment sides with him unconditionally then he lauds it day in day out. If institutions work as per Constitution and law then he abuses them. Upon whom he was relying they have their own politics too. They have reservations. They have never sided with drowning people. This is their history.
