Law Minister Tarar resigns citing personal reasons

Islamabad: Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar has tender resignation here yesterday, sources in ministry confirmed. In a handwritten resignation letter to President Dr Arif Alvi, Minister elucidated that he is resigning on personal grounds. 

Tarar said that he cannot continue his responsibilities as Law Minister, citing his personal engagement as reason for resignation, sources added. Sources further said that a day earlier powerful circles were unhappy over anti-state slogans during Asma Jahangir Conference where he was also present.
