LADIES FUND inaugural event held in Multan

Multan: LADIESFUND launched in Multan with a who's who of Southern Punjabi women. LADIESFUND President Tara Uzra Dawood came from Karachi to grace the occasion, which was hosted by SOS Multan founder Mahnaz Fareed Sheikh at the beautiful SOS Children's Village Multan.
Inaugural LADIESFUND Multan members include include aforementioned Mahnaz Fareed Sheikh, Rahat Bano Multanikar T.I, Dr. Shafqat Abdullah Samtia, Saima Faisal, Filza Mumtaz, Anam Tajjamul, Sarah Danish, Dr. Mehnaz Khakwani, Rameen Anis, and Muneeza Manzoor Butt. "As an empowered woman of Pakistan and having worked for the past 25 years to take Pakistan a more equitable and just society, I welcome the LADIESFUND Chapter to the City of Saints “Multan,” said Mahnaz Fareed Sheikh who hosted and chaired the inaugural meeting. This first meeting was held as a roundtable with introduction and discussion.
"It was a real honour to be selected by LADIESFUND as one of the most dynamic and trailblazing women of Multan," said LADIESFUND Multan member Rahat Bano Multanikar, Tamgha-e-Imtiaz honoree, musician, professor, and member of the board of Multan Electric Supply Company, and daughter of iconic singer Suraiya Multanikar. "It was an honour to meet and welcome Tara Uzra Dawood and LADIESFUND to Multan," said Sarah Danish of Sarah's Cakes. I was nominated to become a member by LADIESFUND Hyderabad member Nafees Usman, who has been praising LADIESFUND for the last several years."
"I am happy to be part of the LADIESFUND Multan and also am grateful, on behalf of Multan Nishtar Hospital, for the donation of wheelchairs made by Dawood Global Foundation & LADIESFUND to our hospital," said Dr. Mehnaz Khakwani, Vice-Chancellor Multan Nishtar Hospital.
