LAHORE: Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan while urging Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) to deliver justice said that lack of justice in Pakistan is cause of country’s destruction and Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) is also an ally of ruling PML-N, while it is being controlled by handlers. Addressing long march participants through video link, he said that risk of repaying loans to banks was 5 percent during PTI government’s tenure that has now exceeds 64.2 percent percent which means our economy has been devastated.

Imran Khan said that world is considering Pakistan’s economy as weak due to which it wouldn’t be able to return its debt, adding that now investors will be afraid of making investments. PTI Chairman while quoting economic survey said economy witnessed historic growth during his nearly four-year tenure, adding that economy started declining after incumbent rulers were “imposed” on country through “conspiracy”. Turning his guns towards former PM and PML-N supremo Imran Khan said Nawaz Sharif would want his cases to be revoked whenever he would appoint an Army Chief.

Imran Khan accused incumbent government of destroying country economy, saying economy is on verge of default amid rising default risk. Foreign investors will be wary of investing in Pakistan amid rising default risk. I ask those who hatched conspiracy who is responsible for this mess? he said. Five-year currency default swap (CDS) index, touched a new high suggesting that country lacked resources to meet growing import payments and foreign debt repayments on time.
