Karachi: KWSB is auctioning hydrants as per rules and regulations. An effective and better measures are being taken by KWSB administration to modernise hydrants cell.

KWSB to improve hydrants Cell complete transparency in public hydrants auction, number of new aspirants are participating in government hydrants auction this time.

Incharge hydrants Cell KWSB Elahi Bakhsh Bhutto said that auction of Board hydrants will be held on January 26 2023. He said that so far 106 interested companies applied in hydrants auction.

It is hoped that all winning companies, contractors and private parties will ensure maintaining required amount of chlorine in water supplied to citizens in keeping with standards set by World Health Organisation.

CEO/MD KWSB Syed Sallahuddin Ahmed said that providing clean water to citizens is one of our top priorities, therefore, despite limited resources, more effective measures are being taken by Board to provide better facilities to citizens.
