Karachi:  On instructions of Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab, Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) has made preparations to speed up operations against water thieves. In this regard, CEO Water Board Syed Sallahuddin Ahmed issued orders to disconnect all illegal connections by inspecting 84-inch dia line of Board at Saba Cinema and Gulshan Mimar from NEK Old Pumping Station.

CEO Water Board issued strict orders to Anti-Theft Cell and concerned officers. He said that all illegal hydrants should immediately be demolished and illegal connections should also be disconnected. No one anyone will be allowed to steal water belonging to citizens, he said.

He said that effects of actions against water thieves will be evident in coming time. He said that accused involved in water theft do not deserve any discount. Strict legal action will be taken to bring accused in water theft to justice. Imran Abdullah, Aamir Khan, Tanveer Shaikh Siddique Tunio Abdul Aziz, Mushtaq Ahmed, Hasnain Abbas were present.
