KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Food Mukesh Kumar Chawla taking notice of reports of sale of flour at high prices in Hyderabad directed Deputy Commissioner of Hyderabad to take strict action against those who sell flour at high prices. He directed Secretary Food Sindh to inquire into matter.

Chawla directed Secretary Food and Director Food to ensure supply of cheap flour throughout Sindh including Hyderabad and to provide cheap flour at general stores as well. He said that government was ensuring smooth supply of cheap flour to people. Strict action would be taken against those selling flour/wheat at high prices.

Chawla said that Sindh government had established centers across province to provide cheap flour to people, which were widely advertised so that maximum number of people could benefit from this facility.
