KSA-Pakistan agree to enhance bilateral trade volume

ISLAMABAD: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and Pakistan discussed matters of mutual interests and agreed to enhance bilateral trade volume between two countries.

Nawaf Saeed A. Almalkiy Ambassador and Commercial Attache of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan called on Federal Minister for Commerce Syed Naveed Qamar here, said press release issued by Ministry of Commerce.

Naveed Qamar highlighted need to enhance cooperation in field of trade and investment between countries and emphasised need for closer economic ties.

He said that Embassy of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is making its utmost efforts to promote economic relationship between two countries and thanked Nawaf Saeed A. Almalkiy for his efforts in this regard.

Ambassador and Commercial Attache expressed his satisfaction over existing level of economic cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and expressed desire to further expand economic cooperation in all areas.

Two sides agreed to continue their cooperation in order to further strengthen the economic relationship between two countries and to explore new areas of cooperation.

Meanwhile, Ambassador of Kazakhstan for Pakistan, Yerzhan Kistafin and Naveed Qamar agreed in principle to sign Kazakhstan-Pakistan Transit Trade Agreement.

During meeting two discussed potential opportunities for trade and cooperation between Kazakhstan and Pakistan, including conclusion of several transit trade agreements, said a press release issued here.
