KSA envoy hosts dinner in honour of Sindh Gov, discuss eco ties, Hajj, Umrah facilities

Karachi: Ambassador of Saudi Arabia Nawaf Saeed A. Al-Maliki hosted dinner in honour of Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori at his residence in Islamabad. Bilateral relations, measures to increase economic cooperation, increase in facilities for Hajj and Umrah by Saudi government and other matters of mutual interest were discussed. Governor said that Saudi Arabia has helped Pakistan in every difficult time, Pakistani nation has immense love for Saudi brothers. He said that decision to issue Umrah visa within 24 hours is welcome, while Hajj flights and quotas have been reduced. Increase will provide more facilities to Hajj pilgrims.

Meanwhile, Governor in his message on September 6-Defense Day said Day reminds us of unprecedented sacrifices and glorious victory of Pakistani nation and Pakistan Army. A date was made together. He said that sacrifices of brave and courageous people of Pakistan on Defense Day are also unforgettable who did not stand by side of their Army and fought against enemy. Governor said that Defense Day is milestone in our national history. Battle of this day highlighted bright aspects of our collective attitudes. September 6 gives lesson to live with honour and dignity, by remembering this day, our brave forces and nation become proud, sacrifices of martyrs are forehead of beloved country. He said let us take pledge today that we will not hesitate to make any sacrifice for sake of defense and honour of our beloved country.
