Ambassador of Saudi Arabia Nawaf Saeed A. Al-Maliki discussed with Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori matters of mutual interest, business and investment. Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Minister for Hajj and Umrah Dr. Al-Hasan Al-Manakhra was also present. Provision of better facilities to Pakistani citizens going to Saudi Arabia for Hajj and Umrah was also discussed. Governor said that Pakistan-Saudi relations span several decades, while Pakistani people have special devotion to Saudi Arabia due to holy places, he added that brotherhood is basis of Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations. Kamran Tessori said that Saudi Arabia has helped Pakistan in every difficult time. Saudi investors should benefit from favourable investment environment in province. Nawaf Saeed Al-Maliki said that he attaches great importance to relations with Pakistan, adding that initiatives taken by Governor for public welfare are exemplary.
Meanwhile, Governor attended funeral prayers of former member of Sindh Assembly Kunwar Naveed Jameel. He extended condolence to deceased’s son and relatives, prayed for ranks and patience for bereaved family. Governor said that Kunwar Naveed Jameel had prominent position in parliamentary politics, adding that he excelled in highlighting public issues, his resolutions and attention-grabbing notices in Sindh Assembly are proof of this. Kamran Tessori said that his services as district nazim of Hyderabad are not hidden from anyone and added death of man like him created vacuum.
