KSA Assistant Defence Minister, COAS Munir discuss defence collaboration

RAWALPINDI: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Assistant Minister of Defence, Major General Talal Abdullah Al-Otaibi called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir. Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said Saudi dignitary called on Army Chief at General Headquarters (GHQ). Saudi Assistant Minister of Defence also called on Chief of General Staff (CGS) Lieutenant General Muhammad Saeed. They held delegation-level meeting on bilateral defence collaboration.

Earlier this month, Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir met Saudi Arabia’s Defence Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman during his official visit to country.
Army Chief visited Saudi Arabia and UAE from January 4-10 and met senior leadership of both countries to discuss matters of mutual interest, military cooperation, and bilateral relations focusing on security-related subjects. During meeting, Saudi defence minister congratulated Gen Munir on his appointment as new COAS.
Meeting was attended by Chief of General Staff of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Lieutenant-General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, Assistant Minister of Defence Eng. Talal bin Abdullah Al-Otaibi as well as military and civilian officials of both countries.
