KPC holds significant importance in democratic struggle, says CM aide

KARACHI: Muhammad Saleem Baloch, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Sindh for Public Health Engineering, has emphasized the crucial role of the Karachi Press Club in the democratic struggle of Pakistan.
He expressed his hope that the newly elected officials of the club will uphold the tradition of freedom of the press. During a meeting with the newly elected office bearers of the Karachi Press Club, including President Fazil Jameeli, Secretary Sohail Afzal Khan, Vice President Arshad Khokhar, and members of the governing body, Hafiz Baloch, Manzoor Sheikh, Hammad Hussain, and Kafail Ahmed, Baloch congratulated them on their success and presented them with bouquets.
The Karachi Press Club has a rich history of promoting democratic values and freedom of the press. Baloch acknowledged the significance of the club in the democratic struggle, saying that it is not just a contemporary entity, but an institution that has played a vital role in the history of Pakistan's democratic movement. The newly elected office bearers of the Karachi Press Club apprised Baloch of the issues faced by the club's members regarding their residential project. In response, Baloch announced that he would visit the Hawks Bay area in the next few days to initiate development projects on a priority basis under the Public Health Engineering Department. The Pakistan People's Party leadership has given clear directives to address the issues of the people of Sindh on a priority basis. Under the guidance of Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, the party is committed to implementing the vision of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
