KP govt vows to resolve problems faced by industrialists: Minister

Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Caretaker Minister for Industries, Commerce and Technical Education Muhammad Adnan Jalil directed relevant authorities for taking effective measures to revive sick industries and also solve problems being faced by industrialists in industrial estates established at province.              

He said that steps should be taken to resolve problems faced by industrialists in industrial estates under Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development Company and Small Industries Development Board as well.               

He issued these instructions during detailed briefing given by all attached entities of industries,C commerce and technical education  department here at Civil Secretariat Peshawar.               

Minister was given detailed briefing by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Board of Investment and Trade, Directorate of Industries, Small Industries Development Board and other relevant departments while implementation of decisions taken in previous meeting was also reviewed in meeting.               

High ups of all relevant departments, coordinator of Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industries Sartaj Khan and others attended.              

He was informed about steps taken so far for resolving problems of Industries established across province. During meeting, minister directed that attached entities of department should present their proposed development plans for improvement of industrialisation in province, while he will make pragmatic efforts to approve it from relevant forums.                He directed officers to carry out rationalisation in order to improve efficiency of concerned departments and ordered officers to fulfill performance targets given to them in timely manner.
