Kim’s birthdate was October 21. Reality TV personality and businesswoman turned 42. A few years ago, when Kim Kardashian landed on an Indian magazine’s cover it was all everyone could speak about. Kim described her magazine photoshoot sarees and lehengas “gorgeous.”

Kim wore a sheer-hooded saree for her magazine cover. Kim donned Anita Dongre, Anamika Khanna, and Sabyasachi designs for magazine’s inner shots. She donned a Sabyasachi saree and an Anita Dongre lehenga. Reality personality made her Vogue India debut in March 2018.

Kim stated of Indian attire, “Sarees, jewellery, clothes everything was so beautiful! I told my show (Keeping Up With Kardashians) that we have to figure out how to get to India.” Soon after photographs of Kim dressing up in traditional Indian costumes in an Indian magazine had come out, social media users had gone into a frenzy, with some suggesting that magazine should feature Indian models rather than Western pop culture figures.

Indians reacted similarly to Kim. Kendall Jenner, her sister, posed for Vogue India’s 10th anniversary and was criticised. Kendall’s photoshoot included late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.–Agencies
