Khilona Foundation: Governor Sindh inaugurates opening ceremony of ‘Free Toys Distribution Drive’

Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori said that many children spend their childhood in sorrow and regret of not playing with toys, but some children are like Yogi Wajahat who have made themselves capable by facing difficult situations. Make it so that other children can give this happiness.
Governor said this while addressing at the event of free distribution of toys to children organised by Khilona Foundation in collaboration with Daily National Courier at Governor House. CEO Commander Builder Muhammad Zakir, CAP Chairman Kaukab Iqbal, ex-MNA Rehan Hashmi, members of corporate sector, businessman, journalists also attended the event.
Governor Sindh said that he is happy to participate in this event because it is organised to give happiness to children in form of toys and children are precious gift of nature without which world is incomplete, while efforts of parents are to fulfill the wishes of their children before they are paid by tongue.
He said that first wish of children is to play with various toys, but this wish of all children cannot be fulfilled, because majority of parents are ironic of situation. Because of this, they fail to give toys to children.
Kamran Tessori said that Yogi Wajahat, founder of Khilona Foundation has given toys to children as his top priority and said “I am also grateful to Aneel Ahmed Usmani for his unequivocal support.”
Governor said that he is grateful to two gentlemen for announcement of giving toys to children of Governor House employees and hoped they will start this series in areas where children cannot buy toys.
Kamran said that my full support in this good cause of Khilona Foundation will remain with them. Earlier, Yogi Wajahat informed Governor about aims and objectives of foundation. Aneel Ahmed Usmani said that toys will be distributed among children of other areas of city.
Kamran Tessori also announced that on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr Free Toys Distribution drive will be kicked-off at Governor House and he will fully support the cause of Khilona Foundation and Daily National Courier. Governor Sindh also named that drive after the name of ‘ Shaheed Bazil Siddiqui, son of prominent journalist Faheem Siddiqui who was martyred years back in bomb blast incident.
Governor Sindh also paid rich tribute to the services in the field of journalism of Founder of Daily National Courier Abul Hasan Usmani (late).
